Also, the market’s ONLY weekend morning newscast, KEZI 9 News This Morning at 8:00 a.m., recently expanded from a half-hour to a full hour-long newscast. Now for the other station…

… KEVU 23 has discontinued the tape-delayed edition of KPTV 12’s Good Day Oregon at 8:00 a.m. on FOX 12 Oregon, which was seen at 9:00 a.m. The tape-delayed editions of some of KPTV 12’s newscasts were added to KEVU 23 in March of this year and it includes the first half-hour of the 5:00 p.m. news at 5:30 and the first half-hour of the nightly 10:00 p.m. news at 11:00 p.m. as well as LIVE simulcasts of the weekend editions of Good Day Oregon at 6:00 a.m. on Saturdays and 7:00 a.m. on Sundays (both half-hour).
