Newscasts debuting this weekend… Edition #30

It’s the 30th edition of Newscasts debuting this weekend. I am very hopeful that you escaped April Fools’ Day and the following list is no joke. We have two newscasts debuting this weekend so please take note if you live in the following areas…

  • 7:00-8:00 AM: WKBN 27 First News This Morning at 7:00 a.m.

WKBN in Youngstown. We were the FIRST to report to you about WKBN 27 adding its first-ever weekend morning newscast and will get the chance to do so, tomorrow. The 6:00am hour will compete against WFMJ 21 (NBC/CW) while the 7:00am hour will be all by themselves.

  • 6:00-6:30 PM: Acadiana’s KLAF News at 6:00
  • 10:00-10:35 PM: Acadiana’s KLAF News at 10:00

KLAF in Lafayette. The station debuted its weeknight newscasts earlier tonight (5:00, 6:00, 9:00 on KADN 15 and 10:00pm) and tomorrow will see the debut of its Saturday newscasts.

Sunday April 3rd, 2016

  • 8:00-9:00 AM: WKBN 27 First News This Morning at 8:00 a.m.

WKBN in Youngstown. The 7:30am half-hour competes against the second half-hour of the first hour of WFMJ 21’s Sunday morning newscast while the 8:00am hour is all by themselves.

  • 5:00-5:30 PM: Acadiana’s KLAF News at 5:00
  • 10:00-10:35 PM: Acadiana’s KLAF News at 10:00

That’s it for this weekend and this is no joke. If there are any more changes, I will certainly update you on any changes. Have a great weekend and welcome to April!
