FIRST ON THE BLOG: Some minor changes in two small markets in the Midwest and they’re both additions.
First… just recently, KOTA 3 has added a half-hour weekend newscast at 5:30pm. Just like the weekday counterpart, KOTA Territory News at 5:30 airs on Saturdays and Sundays and is home to the market’s ONLY weekend newscast on at that timeslot and the market they serve, serves Rapid City and Western South Dakota.
Next… also just recently, KNEP 4.2 which carries NBC for Scottsbluff and Western Nebraska, has added an hour-long morning newscast on weekdays at 6:00am with NBC Nebraska News Today. It’s the ONLY local morning newscast that focuses on Western Nebraska and Scottsbluff but it also competes against other local morning newscasts from Cheyenne since Scottsbluff is part of the Cheyenne TV market.
That’s it for all the small changes for now. There are no more of this kind to report of at this time.
