If you enjoy very early morning news in Baltimore, one station is about to do just that and join two others in the market in doing so.
Starting Monday January 16th, 2017, WBFF 45 will expand its popular FOX 45 Morning News to start an extra half-hour earlier that will see the newscast begin starting at 4:30am with The Early Edition and that particular block goes on until 6:00am. This will soon give WBFF 45’s weekday morning newscast, a full five-and-a-half hours that will begin at 4:30am and last until 10:00am with the last hour branded as Good Day Baltimore.
With this new start, WBFF 45 will become the third station in the market to start at 4:30am after WMAR 2 (ABC) did so years ago and then WBAL 11 (NBC) when they did so last year. It will leave WJZ 13 (CBS) as the last station in the market to continue to start at 5:00am.
WBFF 45’s General Manager, William Fanshawe:
“We’ve expanded the morning news multiple times in the past several years and each time Baltimore viewers have responded well.”
WBFF 45’s weekday morning newscast that will soon be five-and-a-half hours is co-anchored by Patrice Sanders, Tom Rodgers and Megan Gilliland.
An extra half-hour is coming to WBFF 45 and is providing more local news. Good news for those who like WBFF 45 and who wake up with them early.
