FIRST ON THE BLOG: The station actually announced this move back in January but its only until now I got word about this. That is, KDVR is expanding because their mornings do so well.
Another week of local newscasts debuting this week and we have another one for next week, but for now, here is this week’s list.
Get ready for even more local morning news from KDVR. But not just in the morning, but even a new one on midday as well.
FIRST ON THE BLOG: There are brand new newscasts in Colorado. One is making its return while the other is all brand new.
FIRST ON THE BLOG: More minor changes taking place, this time in Colorado.
A discontinuation: KDVR 31 in Denver has recently discontinued its Saturday night 10:00 p.m. newscast. It has now been replaced by The Simpsons. KDVR 31 will continue to produce a weeknight and Sunday edition of its 10:00 p.m. newscast.
A cutdown: KRDO 13 has shorten its Sunday 10:00 p.m. newscast to a half-hour. Made in Hollywood has taken its place at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday nights. Now, only KKTV 11 airs a 1-hour newscast on Sunday nights.
There is a major change that recently took place in Western Colorado (Grand Junction), involving KJCT 8 and KKCO 11. The story will be up shortly.
FIRST ON THE BLOG: More minor newscast changes to report as newscasts are being added from left to right across this country today…
WCBS 2 has shrunk the 6:00 a.m. hour of the Sunday morning newscast to 30 minutes to accommodate The McLaughlin Group at 6:30 a.m., which is produced by WTTW 11 / Chicago and mainly for PBS stations, even though the program is produced at the HQ’s of WUSA 9 in D.C.
WCAU 10 has expanded the Saturday morning newscast to 5:00 a.m. The Sunday morning newscast still starts at 5:30 a.m.
KDVR 31 has now added a Saturday night 10:00 p.m. newscast. The station now airs news at 5:00, 5:30, 9:00, 9:30 and 10:00 p.m., 7 nights a week.
They may be more minor changes from today so stay tuned…
