FIRST ON THE BLOG: Another small change to report. We reported before the end of last year that KSWO was discontinuing its 9:00 p.m. newscast KSWO-DT3, due to switching affiliations from Live Well Network to This TV. Apparently, the newscast has come back.
KSWO 7 has re-added the weeknight-only 9:00 p.m. newscast for KSWO-DT 7.3, otherwise known as This TV Texoma. KSWO 7 has been readjusting schedules in order for KSWO 7 to allow to carry the weeknight 9:00 p.m. newscast again, as it was gone for a few weeks/months to allow for readjustment. This once again competes against other half-hour weeknight-only 9:00 p.m. newscasts from KFDX 3 (NBC) on KJTL 18 (FOX) and KAUZ 6 (CBS) on KAUZ-DT 6.2 (CW) as primetime news options in the Central Texoma market.
KSWO 7 has filled the rest of the pre-empted 2 hours of This TV programming from 9:00-11:00 p.m. CT with M*A*S*H at 9:30 and 2 episodes of The Steve Harvey Show (the old show from the defunct television network, The WB) from 10:00-11:00 p.m.
Welcome back, KSWO 7. Other than that, no other major additions or expansions to report at this time.

If a TV station cancels a newscast and the same station reinstates the newscast like what KSWO TV did I always say welcome back newscast.
