This addition becomes the third one in 6 months after they added weekday morning news in September of last year around the same time they added Sunday night news at 9:00 and 10:00pm. By the way, that exact detail is what made me hit the big time as my two articles from September is now recently featured on TVSpy.

WVLT in Knoxville. Reported just a few minutes ago, WVLT 8 becomes the third station in the Knoxville market to have a 2-&-a-1/2-hour early evening news block after WATE 6 (ABC) and WBIR 10 (NBC).

WTAE-DT2 in Pittsburgh. The station is adding a half-hour newscast on a subchannel that’s devoted to movies, not news. Jackie Cain with news and Mike Harvey with weather as part of the new newscast.

That’s it for this week. If anything else changes, you should know where our social media channels are located. Have a great week!

  1. PS the logo to KHQA-TV 7 in Quincy, IL also a CBS station has a very similar ugly logo and look almost exactly like the ugly ass logo on KOSA-TV 7 in Midland/Odessa.
