FIRST ON THE BLOG: A small change to report from the Ozarks.
Just recently, KRBK 49 (Cable 5) has expanded its news department with a half-hour early-evening newscast at 6:30 p.m. with FOX 5 News at 6:30, which leads into FOX primetime at 7:00 p.m. Its now home to the ONLY newscast on at that timeslot in the market (since the rest, KYTV 3 – NBC, KOLR 10 – CBS and KSPR 33 – ABC, all air syndicated programming at 6:30 p.m.).
It is now one of just two newscasts that KRBK currently airs: the other being the hour-long weeknight 9:00 p.m. newscast.
Other than that, there are no other major additions or expansions to report on at this time.
